A tribute to a friend

So often we don’t say to our friends how much they mean to us. Friends are priceless. For all of us who have wonderful friends; those who have been there with us through the joys and sorrows of life, have seen our ups and our downs, and loved us through it all — I share this with you:

Sometimes we think our life so insignificant like a vapor, gone and forgotten;
That we could disappear without any notice, and this world would just go on.
But, what holds us to meaning in this crazy life, is our heart and hand;
Held in friendship with another.

The effect we have on a friend’s heart, the tie that gives life meaning,
The love of a friend…the heart that says, you are special to me,
Goes on eternally, nothing can take that away.

Our chances to speak our heart pass quickly.
So, it is now my time to speak my heart…
My time to share the meaning of “You” in my life.

You are that special friend in my life.
Would I miss you if you were gone a day?
Would I miss you if you were gone a month?
Would I miss you if you were just gone?

Yes, forever, Yes!
