Channeling emotions

2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that God did not give us a spirit of fear; but of power, love and a sound mind. Psalms 111:10 says: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments. His praise endureth forever.

If you are someone who is dealing with depression and anxiety, then you are in bondage. Depression is a state of mind that allows anger, fear and worry to dictate. The only fear we should have is the fear of the Lord. We are to walk out our salvation with fear and trembling as we put on the mind of Christ. The word of God teaches us everything we need to know in order to live a fruitful life and to experience the fullness of God everyday.

We are not to worry and be anxious for anything according to the word of God. God’s word teaches us how to channel our emotions in a positive way. Psalms 103:8 tells us that the Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. Proverbs 15:1 says that harsh words stir up anger within. We’ve all been hurt, and we have hurt others with harsh others. If we ever want to live in a peaceful world, we must learn to love and forgive others.

I encourage you to draw closer to God and let Him teach you to have the mind of Christ. What we take in affects what we give out to others.

Being in bondage is the work of the enemy; he is positioned to steal, kill and destroy. I encourage you to fight the good fight of faith and let God break the chains and shackles that have you bound. Reach out and grab the hem of His garment and be delivered and set free. God is able and can do so much more than we can ever comprehend. He is the greatest Teacher of all.
I’d like to say to you, I’m about to turn 70 years of age; I’ve been around the block a few times, and I actually made the best decision of my life when I decided to follow Jesus.

Remember that God’ word says whom the Son sets free is free indeed. This word is so true,; you will find as you follow Him, that you will never be the same again.
