The fullness we have in Christ

I was praying and reflecting on God this morning, thinking of all the blessings and beautiful things in life…meditating on the teachings of Paul in Ephesians and Colossians…thinking of Paul’s conviction on the “fullness” we have in Christ…wholeness, completeness, all-sufficient, perfection!!! And His insistence in Colossians that ALL can walk in this knowledge of “Christ in us, our glorious hope!!!” It was not for the intellectuals and holy men alone…but for ALL who would come and receive! I was thinking just how much of a smack to the face that would have been to the Roman world…to the Gnostics philosophers of the day! We serve a God who does not save or make whole based upon any external standing in this world…money, intellect, class, gender, age…it is irrelevant when it comes to salvation and living in the fullness of God!

…Then the spirit lead me to this thought and impressed it upon me…it hit my mind and heart and brought me to tears right in the Marriott parking lot!!! Lol…
The “fullness” in Christ cannot be earned or achieved, it must be received as a gift!!! Christ paid it all in his sacrifice and resurrection and sat down at the right hand of God…now we must receive the kingdom of God as a GIFT! The kingdom of God belongs to the little children…to the poor…why is that?! Because they freely come and freely receive it as a GIFT!!! There is nothing they have to offer, to try and “earn” it…they come to receive!
That is ALL of us!!! And once we are established in this truth; once we receive, what we can and will do for and in Christ is limitless…his power and calling in us! What great works and wonders we will do AS HIS CHILDREN, once we stop STRIVING to be his children!!! We already ARE…we must first and always receive it as a gift…prosperity, fullness, freedom, wholeness is WHO WE ARE IN JESUS despite the circumstances going on around us! Nothing is lacking…we are forgiven and free to love Him and to live in Him! Thank you God!!!

This is my message…Grace has come…Jesus has come!!! Jesus did not change God’s mind to us…He reconciled US to Him!!! God has always been of a singular mind of love towards us and has always worked salvation…but in Christ the fullness has come!!!…for all who believe…for all who have faith…for all who will receive Jesus (“The Lord Saves”) as a gift!!!

Hallelujah!!!
