Trusting God with your heart

Picture a cluttered room and be aware of how it makes you feel as you look with your imagination. As you walk around the room you begin to trip over and bump into things causing you to be frustrated and ill feeling. Does it bring feelings of anxiety, exhaustion or does it just make you want to close the door and run? The Father views the room and says “there is no room for Me there.” He is discouraged in the moment because He has a great amount of gifts to give and sees the potential in the room. He says “Come to Me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28. He wants to come in but you hesitate to let Him in because of the condition of the room. What you don’t realize is He is the answer to your cluttered room and He doesn’t care what it looks like. He is the one who can come in, clean it out and rearrange it so you can move freely and function properly according to His purpose for you.

We must come to the place where we can empty everything before the Lord. This act pleases the Father. It is necessary to do this so He can do what He wants to do in and through us. If our heart and life is cluttered with the things that are not of Him, then He has no room to dwell. He cannot move without bumping into your worries, your hurts, your bitterness, your un-forgiveness and your busyness. Those are not the only things that are cluttering your heart and life. He also bumps into good things like your family, your career, your hobbies and your dreams. Empty yourself of all these things that are cluttering your heart and your life, then allow Him to remove the ones that should not be there. He will then put back the others in the appropriate order according to His desire for you.

His placement and purpose is perfect. His alignment of your heart, spirit, eyes and desires will then be in sync with His. He will cause the realignment to line up with your assignment. Fully accomplishing what He desires for you and you will find greater fulfillment in this new realignment and in your assignment.

Believe His words and His thoughts towards you. They are to give you life and to prosper you. His words are ALIVE and have the ability to give you breath and fill you with life and the riches of it. You don’t have to wait to reach heaven. Heaven can dwell in you now and you can live with favor from the Father. Yes, you can live a full vibrant, blessed life on earth. When you are in pursuit of His heart and desire to live in the “high places” with Him, you must empty your heart to Him. Exposing ourselves in regards to our heart is a risky and scary thing. The awesome thing is that we can trust our heart to the Father. We must get “low’ in the posturing of our heart to get to the “high” places with the Father. Allow Him to move in today and dwell within your heart. It is His desire to be with His children and give them good gifts.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.” Ephesians 3:17

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:11

“Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
