No where to hide

Many of us today are running from God for whatever reason, but I must tell you we must stop running and embrace God. God wants to enrich our lives with his blessings. If we continue to ignore and disobey Him, He won’t be able to pour out His blessings upon us. We don’t want to end up in the belly of a whale for three days and three nights.

The Bible tells us about the prophet Jonah. Jonah’s experiences were preempted because he decided to run from his calling. God had instructed Jonah to do something; however in his mind Jonah doubted the success of God’s instructions and so went the other way. He was not going to put himself in a position to be ridiculed. Does that sound familiar? I am guilty as charged.

We can run but we can’t hide from God. We can spend our lives running and running some more; looking back over our shoulders, never accomplishing God’s plan for us or receiving the blessings He wants to give us. We have the choice of taking the low road or the high road. It’s up to you and I! I know I got really tired of running a long time ago and decided to stop running from God, but run to God! My way wasn’t working anymore.

John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

It is phenomenal when a child of God can truly give their lives over to God such that He can complete what He has started in them. He is the author and the finisher of our faith. The best decision we can ever make is letting go and letting God. We don’t want to be looking adversity in the face at every turn. I believe we all want to experience the full life that only God can give to us.

I pray that you will open up your heart and invite Him in. He wants to meet with you.
