The sinful church

As we prayed the other day, I saw a multistory building. It was tilting to the side. It stood precarious. I felt it had suffered many barrages.

Afterwards the Lord showed me that the building represented the church; and it was taking many barrages from the sin that pervaded. It was being stripped from within and without. And the Lord gave me an understanding of what was happening. The church was the multistory building. The reason why it was so beaten was because of a stripping from within and without. From within because of the sin that has been allowed to fester and take hold in church; and from without because the ruler of the air is in operation.

As I said I saw the building standing despite the beatings. It was standing sideways and looking tired. Yet it was standing! Amen!

And I felt that the church I saw had risen out of ashes. And God is giving us encouragement here. Yes, even now the church is going through, yet it will stand and rise according to the Word of God.

We must be careful not to strip the church with sin; we must be careful not to stand against God’s Word.
