Refill your gas

Have you ever driven your car and disregarded the gas gauge? Maybe you were distracted and did not pay attention. Then the dreaded happens! Your car stalls. There is no more juice. There were many opportunities to get gas into your car. There was the 7-11 gas station; there was the Race Trac; there was the Thornthons; there was the Wa-Wa. The driver never turned into any of these to refill. The problem was that the driver never paid attention to the gas gauge – never caught the warning light. Just kept driving!

I feel at times we are like that driver. We refuse to read our Bibles. We place it on the table; we place it on the chair; we place it in our cars; we place it on our beds. We never stop; never settle down and just read. We never look at that warning light that tells us we are low. We are dangerously low!

Are you low, please read the Word of God! The Word of God is the juice of our lives; it is the oil of our lives; it is that well that never dries; it is the answer to everything that pertains to our lives; it is the powerful written Word of God; it breathes life to dead things; it brings hope to hopeless things; it brings joy where all hope is lost; it is the gas that will take us to the destination God has ordained for us.

I encourage you to pay attention to your gas gauge. Refill your gas with the Word of God.
