The harvest

What will you do when the Harvest comes in
So many souls for Jesus to win.

Is your heart prepared to give of yourself
All the gifts God’s given to take off the shelf.

And lay down your life and all that you do
To let Jesus’ Life and Light shine through you.

Pick up your cross and follow after Him
The places He’s gone, the places He’s been.

He’s calling us first to come back to the Throne
Where Grace and Mercy cover us alone.

And when God’s Holy Spirit so Righteous and True
Gets ready to move, can He count on you?

For we will become His hands and arms of Love
Stretched out to this world, His Presence from above.

The former and the latter rain is coming down
Watering the seeds, preparing the ground.

For those trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord
We must be ready, our hearts in one accord.

Salvation’s gift given long ago
Will shower this people, making whiter than snow.

Their needs will be so great and others small
But with Jesus Christ we can meet them all.

So sure up the foundations of your heart
So when God’s Spirit moves, you can be a part

Of all the wonderful things He will do
As He brings in the Harvest and uses you.
