Having lived a few years now, walking into 2025 should be done with an intention to trust the Lord and focus on the power of His might. In the natural, 2025 could be a minefield, full of unknowns, trials, and tribulations. It could be littered with mishaps and disappointments; despite this, these months ahead are certainly laced with opportunities! All we have to do is look back at 2024 and recall our deliverance in the healing, joy, peace, guiding, helping, showing, encouragement that God provided.

Like any other new year, 2025 brings a mystery to us. Days we have never lived, months seen in a distance, moments we aspire for; though now, just aspirations.
And so how do we enter this year knowing the turbulence that was 2024; yes, knowing that the climate is still adversely changing; those wildfires will rage, the sea levels will rise, the summer will scorch and melt, the winter blitz will be punishing!

As I enter 2025, I enter with my hand on the hope that I have in the name of Jesus. What a great thing hope is! It does not melt in the sight of uncertainty. It sees that tomorrow will bow just as yesterday bowed. And even when the days struggle to succumb and obey, they shall! Not because I am so prepared as I go into the year; no! It will be because Jesus is Lord and He will watch over us and perform His word. It will be because God never fails. It will be because He loves us so much that not even a strand of hair will be lost in 2025. It will be because we have faith in our God! Not faith in our money, our intellect, our societal rung; it will be because we have accepted that He is God and we are confident that He will do what only He can do; yes, we are confident that He will make a way for us this 2025. He will bless us and take care of ALL our needs.

So may no one worry as they enter 2025, despite the uncertainties and chaos. Despite the shakiness, yet we stand on solid ground. We stand and will continue to stand all the 365 days ahead. Do you believe this? I pray you do! I pray that you enter as though you believe that God is with you and that is all you need.
