The power of God is present

The power of God was there in Luke 5:17 in the house where Jesus was seated teaching the people who had come to hear Him. The power of God had taken over the room, the atmosphere, the entire place. The power of God was present to do the impossible. And then a group of 4 men had the audacity and faith to bring in a crippled man into this power charged environment. The man they carried was paralyzed. Unfortunately the house was packed with people and there was no conceivable way to set this problem before Jesus. This did not stop them. Many of us refrain from going all the way after God because of some pebbles in our way. I implore you to find a roof and remove the tile in Jesus’ name. Be desperate, bold and innovative. Scratch, beg, push, but make sure you receive the power of God in your life. These men became innovative and went up the roof, removed tiles, so they could let him down before Jesus.

Jesus looked at them and seeing their faith said in Luke 5:20, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven you.’ The scribes and Pharisees began to reason, questioning in what authority Jesus could forgive sins. Jesus was way past their cynicism. He said to the man, ‘Get up and pick up your stretcher and go home.’

There is power available in the room where God is allowed to be present. I have held meetings where I can literally sense His presence in the room. Consider this, God is not in the room to be a spectator. He is in the room to do great and mighty things. He is in the room to move your mountain. He is in the room to heal you and deliver you. He is in the room for your son and daughter. He is in the room for your provision. He is in the room to make a way for you. Why will you sit it out?

He was in that room. But ONLY those with faith could benefit from His presence; those who came with questioning hearts received nothing. I encourage you to approach God in the same way those men did, removing the roof tile if need be. I have seen God heal, deliver, speak life to dead situations in my meetings. I see God literally touch broken lives and bring healing. I see God heal painful backs, childlessness, marriages, give direction etc. If you want miracles in your life, then make sure you do not question God; just go with faith in your heart.
