Seeing God as He is

Seeing God as He is

I open my eyes to see the expanse of the future God has for me.
As I start to examine the details clouds start to roll in and obstruct my view.
What is this dark ambiguous nebulous form that is keeping me from seeing the vision God has laid out for me?
Before I couldn’t put my finger on it but now I recognize it.
Fear I see you trying to creep in.
Trying to creep up on the plans and kill my dream before it starts to breath.
I see you fear!
But I am not afraid!
No I am not afraid!
I used to be afraid.
Afraid of failure,
Afraid of falling,
Afraid of being wrong,
Afraid of creating a fuss,
Afraid of looking stupid.
I would hear a voice saying who are you?
Why do you think you can make a difference?
Then I would remember a setback is really a set up.
That rock that was thrown has been honed into a stepping stone!
It is pavement material to be used to build my path way to success.
So tell your haters thank you as they let the word fly.
You see, you need something to step on as you walk out your God given vision.
I feel a breeze, there is something in the wind, there is hope in the air!
Hope birthed in prayer and praise with tears shed and hands raised.
Is there room for fear in the presence of hope?
What does fear have in the presence of hope?
When I realize there is something bigger than what I am feeling in this moment,
When I remember the good and perfect gift.
When I find joy in perseverance.
When I walk by faith.
When I rest in the Comforter.
There is NO room for fear!
There is NO room for fear in my praise!
There is NO room for fear when I embrace my strength!
Stand with courage.
Speak truth.
Choose authenticity.
There’s no place for fear when I stand in the light of the Son!
And let the past go and see the future is as big as the sky.
So let them talk all they want, their opinions are insignificant.
Now that I know failure is nothing more than the road by which I walk my path to success there is no room for fear in the face of hope!
I am perfectly loved and that casts out all fear!
I AM NOT AFRAID!
