Faith is progressive

Have faith for a molehill
Then for a tiny biddy mountain
And then for a small hill
Then for a midsize mountain
And then for a big mountain

Faith is progressive
And so one step at a time
One chipping away at a time
One bringing down at a time
One breaking down after another
That is what faith can do

David found his faith too
He killed a bear
And a lion
And then Goliath

Moses saw a bush
And then withstood Pharaoh
And then stared down the Red Sea

Faith can move mountains
It can move them into the sea
It can, yes, pick them up
Regardless of how big and immovable
And with precision
Thrust them
Into the bottom of the sea

But faith is progressive
It will pick a small mountain
And then a slightly bigger one
And then go on
And pick up an even bigger one

Faith is like an elastic band
Faith must stretch
And go from a small mountain
To a big mountain
But faith can do it
It is stretchable
It is pliable
It is reaching

Because of what it believes in
Faith can do it
Never underestimate faith
The power of your faith
