God’s correction
A dear lady got up on Sunday to give a testimony during the testimony time at church. She is a member of church, but recently had been off and on. She had started a new job, and other matters had seemed to preoccupy her. However we had continued to pray for her. As she began to speak, she said she had wrecked her car two weeks prior and totaled it. Though the insurance took care of the car; yet she had a wake-up call! The Lord spoke to her and said this: ‘You have been too busy for Me. You have been running around doing your own thing. You do not have time for Me. I am correcting you.’
This blew my mind. This was her testimony! Her totaled car! Her being in a car wreck! And yet thank God that He will correct us. Thank God that He will pull us close; thank God that He will remove whatever is obstructing us from coming close to Him. Thank God that He totaled the car, and that the devil could not total her! God can replace a car; nothing can replace you!
I asked her before she left Sunday, ‘Will I see you at Bible Study?’ She answered, ‘I have been corrected. I am back.’
