God is never far away

God never leaves His children abandoned. We are never so far away from Him that He can no longer see us. Even if we make our resting place in the depths of the earth, God still sees and cares for us. We can never outrun His love. The darkness we try to conceal ourselves in, is nothing more than a shadow to Him. God is good and faithful. Even in our disobedience He never ceases to “hunt us down” with His love and provide us with an escape from our sin. He made each and every one of us differently and intricately formed us. We are so loved by Heavenly Father that we can never get away from Him or His extravagant love for us. Therefore, we should praise His name. He is good. He is faithful. He is loving. He is kind. As His children, we should despise and turn away from the things our Father hates and instead, we should strive to be more like our loving Savior. We are to invite God to search our hearts and remove any wickedness or characteristic that does not bring Him honor from us. Because of His goodness and faithfulness, He is more than worthy of our trust.

Instead of trying to hide from God when I stumble, something that is impossible to do, I should trust that my heavenly Father is full of forgiveness and love, and is faithful and just and will forgive me. Even if I dislike the consequences, I can trust that God has and never will stop loving me and that He is always with me no matter what.
